Frank L. Natter Jr.
g
uitarist, vocalist, & composer with a dynamic range of guitar performance and diverse vocal style. His performance experience includes a self-promoted continental tour with a pop-rock band. As the band’s guitarist and backup vocalist he toured as far west as
Boulder, CO and as far south as Atlanta, Georgia. At age 21, he traveled with a blues ensemble that inevitably landed steady work in Venice Beach, California. Frank has performed for various pit-band ensembles for musicals such as "Pippin", "Grease", and a cabaret version of "Rent". While concert tours took him across the United States he found his calling in his latest endeavor, Facets. In search for a musical partner Frank Jr. found, he and his father make a extraordinary collaboration. He returned to Connecticut to form the Acoustic Duo Facets which blends the sound of jazz, classical, rock, and blues to create a unique blend of music received by audiences of all ages. Now recording for the FaceArts label, this remarkable guitarist has added Jazz to his list of musical knowledge. With FaceArts, Frank Jr. has shown his skills in composition and song writing, which is clearly heard on the "Over the Blue Land" release. He privately studied the jazz harmony, classical guitar technique, and blues guitar. In addition to his performance schedule Frank Jr. is a sought after teacher at Matt’s Music in Middletown, CT and FaceArtsStudio in Deep River, CT. His instrumental and vocal diversity, love of many musical styles, and natural sense of dynamics make him a well-versed musician willing to share his passion and knowledge both as a performer and as a teacher.
